Credit allocation is based on course duration, and credits are automatically reported to the relevant Dutch accrediting organizations upon successful course completion. International eye care professionals can download a certificate of completion and submit it to their local accrediting body for continuing education credit recognition.

Receive a Certificate of Completion

After successfully completing the e-learning course, you can download a certificate of completion as evidence of your achievement. This is especially useful for physician assistants and optometrists who wish to use the course to support their professional development or as part of the pathway towards obtaining new Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs).

Yes. The course is structured so that all chapters must be completed in chronological order.

When watching a video for the first time, you cannot fast-forward or rewind it. After completing the video, you can watch it again and navigate freely within it.

Once you have watched the video, one or more interactive questions will become available. You must answer these questions before you can continue to the next chapter.

After purchasing a course, you will have access to it for one year.

Each course is accredited for a period of two years. This allows us to review and update the course content every two years.

If an important new guideline or relevant clinical development is published during this period, we may decide to update the course sooner. Every course is formally reviewed for accuracy and relevance at least once every two years.

The number of accreditation credits may differ because accreditation is requested from and assessed by several independent accrediting bodies, including ABFE, NOG, NAPA and ADAP.

Each organisation applies its own criteria. The number of credits awarded is generally related to the estimated study duration of the course. Since the summer of 2024, no more than three credits can be awarded for a single course.
