Credit allocation is based on course duration, and credits are automatically reported to the relevant Dutch accrediting organizations upon successful course completion. International eye care professionals can download a certificate of completion and submit it to their local accrediting body for continuing education credit recognition.

After successfully completing the e-learning course, you can download a certificate of completion as evidence of your achievement. This is especially useful for physician assistants and optometrists who wish to use the course to support their professional development or as part of the pathway towards obtaining new Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

De accreditatie van elke cursus wordt voor een periode van 2 jaar afgegeven. Dit geeft ons de mogelijkheid om elke 2 jaar de cursus weer up-to-date te maken. Indien er in de tussentijd een belangrijke update van richtlijnen wordt uitgebracht, kan eerder worden besloten om de cursus indien nodig aan te passen. Elke cursus wordt om de 2 jaar opnieuw beoordeeld op actualiteit.

Na het behalen van uw cursus wordt door ons binnen een week de CME of ADAP-punten doorgegeven aan GAJA. U hoeft zelf geen actie te ondernemen.

De eindtoets dient ook als bekwaamheidstest voor Physician Assistants en klinische optometristen. Het standaard slagingsniveau is 70% of hoger, maar dit kan voor bepaalde cursussen hoger liggen. U krijgt drie pogingen om de eindtoets succesvol af te ronden. Als u na de derde poging nog steeds niet slaagt, heeft u wel de mogelijkheid om de cursus in zijn geheel opnieuw te doorlopen, waarna u weer drie nieuwe kansen krijgt.
